This new graduate offering that enhances the skills of local HR Professionals is designed as a fully accredited Masters programme. UCCI has collaborated with the Cayman Islands Society of Human Resource Professionals (CISHRP) to tailor the offering to suit those working in the Cayman Islands market while still meeting the requirements of international workplaces.

The modular, flexible curriculum offers the opportunity for students to study portions à la carte in order to achieve specific expertise, knowledge and certifications. Alternatively the stand alone sections can be combined with an academic and project component to obtain a full Master's degree in Human Resource Management.

This senior management training programme provides the essentials of Executive level MBA education (EMBA) to persons from private and public sector.

The CEMBA, offered jointly by the University College of the Cayman Islands and the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto, offers managers the opportunity to take graduate level university education in MBA areas such as accounting, finance, economics, marketing and management prior to or during their busy careers. In order to minimize the amount of time that managers are away from their busy work responsibilities, the structure for the programme is for each of the 8 courses to run for two days each (Friday/Saturday) at the Executive Training Centre. All of the courses are taught by senior professors from Rotman and UCCI who have extensive experience in consulting and teaching for senior managers.

Graduates of the CEMBA program will receive an official Certificate in EMBA Studies from the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto and the University College of Caymans Islands.

UCCI, in partnership with the American Management Association (AMA) offers qualifying seminars towards the AMA Certificate of Excellence. Attendees who complete any three (3) AMA seminars are awarded the AMA Certificate of Excellence. The CAT Training comprises a combination of exams and practical experience. CAT training is designed to equip you with all the necessary technical skills and knowledge required to fulfill the accounting role to the technician level. CAT training provides the foundation to become a professional ACCA accountant and is internationally recognized.

If you have a desire to complete your accounting certification and have one year practical experience in the workplace, you can apply for admission into the programme.

In 2009, CAT training for papers 1-4 will be offered starting in February. The programme is an exciting new approach to CAT training incorporating the newest learning technologies enabling you to complete 4 papers in 4 months. UCCI has collaborated with the Cayman Islands Society of Human Resource Professionals (CISHRP) to deliver the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Learning System. A competency based training, the SHRM Training focuses on six HR areas that prepare the student for the certification as either a Professional of Human Resources (PHR®) or a Senior Professionals of Human Resources (SPHR®) depending on their area(s) of focus. Since SHRM is an internationally recognized society, the training suits not only those working in the Cayman Islands market but also meets the requirements of international workplaces.
