Graduate, Certificate and Executive Training Programmes

The University College of the Cayman Islands Executive Training Centre is offering the necessary training to allow individuals to progress towards the following goals:

    Masters in Human Resource Management (MHRM)

      This new graduate offering that enhances the skills of local HR Professionals is designed as a fully accredited Masters programme. UCCI has collaborated with the Cayman Islands Society of Human Resource Professionals (CISHRP) to tailor the offering to suit those working in the Cayman Islands market while still meeting the requirements of international workplaces.

      The modular, flexible curriculum offers the opportunity for students to study portions à la carte in order to achieve specific expertise, knowledge and certifications. Alternatively the stand alone sections can be combined with an academic and project component to obtain a full Master's degree in Human Resource Management.

    Executive Certificate in Management

      The Executive Certificate in Management is presented jointly by the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and the University College of the Cayman Islands. The program provides participants with the knowledge and skills relevant to management in business, organizations and government. The program consists of a range of management topics presented as intensive sessions over a weekend (Friday/Saturday) once every month and is designed to minimize time away from work.

      Graduates will receive an Executive Certificate in Management from the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto and the University College of Caymans Islands.

    American Management Association (AMA) Programme

      UCCI, in partnership with the American Management Association (AMA) offers qualifying seminars towards the AMA Certificate of Excellence. Organizations worldwide, including the majority of the Fortune 500, turn to AMA as their trusted partner in professional development. Attendees who complete any three (3) AMA seminars are awarded the AMA Certificate of Excellence. However, individuals can take seminars as standalone seminars - which prove to be ideal resources for those employed in managerial roles or as HR professionals - to develop a specific area of knowledge or expertise. Seminars run over three days and are facilitated by members of the AMA.

      The University College of the Cayman Islands is proud to announce their partnership with the Becker CPA Review. Becker has been an advocate for CPA’s for fifty years.     Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Training

      UCCI has collaborated with the Cayman Islands Society of Human Resource Professionals (CISHRP) to deliver the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Learning System. A competency based training, the SHRM Training focuses on six HR areas that prepare the student for the certification as either a Professional of Human Resources (PHR®) or a Senior Professionals of Human Resources (SPHR®) depending on their area(s) of focus. Since SHRM is an internationally recognized society, the training suits not only those working in the Cayman Islands market but also meets the requirements of international workplaces.
